Utilize the Stock Trade Entry Point application for identifying trading opportunities and determining optimal entry and exit points, along with other trade setups aimed at profit maximization and risk mitigation.
The analysis commences by pinpointing support and resistance levels using pivot points, gaps, and major moving averages commonly employed by traders. The significance of each level is evaluated through various characteristics such as frequency of occurrences, volume strength, and historical track record of providing support or resistance.
During U.S. market hours, real-time stock (or ETF) prices are compared against support and resistance levels to uncover viable trading prospects. The range-bound strategy targets substantial price differentials between robust support and resistance thresholds. Conversely, the breakout strategy identifies chances for price movements to breach a resistance level, with the former barrier then turning into a new support. Similarly, the breakdown strategy operates in the opposite direction by anticipating price declines. Additionally, scenarios exist where prices trend without encountering resistance or plummet without encountering support.
Upon identification of a favorable trading opportunity, the system computes the entry point based on predefined criteria, as well as exit and stop-loss prices. It also calculates potential gains, maximum loss percentage, and reward-to-risk ratio.
The Summary section displays support and resistance levels along with their corresponding price ranges, types, intensity, and strength. Users can delve deeper by selecting the “+” (show details) button to reveal a detailed breakdown of each level. For instance, for a pivot point level, the detail view showcases instances of each pivot point including date, price, volume, average volume, and volume strength.
The Chart section presents a candlestick chart illustrating stock performance within the specified analysis period. It includes the latest ticker (current price) alongside support/resistance levels, gaps, and EMAs to provide a visual snapshot of price positions and the robustness of support and resistance areas.
